We love working  with Natural Cork for many of our featured shoulder straps and handles. It is very durable, naturally water resistant and gets softer with every wear.

Cork comes from the Mediterranean Cork oak tree and is often referred to as Vegan Leather Cork. This beautiful sustainable material has a soft touch to it. To remove stains from your cork handles and bag strap, wash them with some mild soap and gently wipe off stains. Let dry completely.

There are so many things we love about the soft nylon rope we are using to craft our outer bags. First and foremost, It is Oeko-Tex STANDARD 100 certified, free from any harmful materials to humans. Our rope is of exceptional quality. Make no mistake, crafting with it is very hard work; but the result is a phenomenally bold look. The Loop Couture look.

Should you have a stain on your bag, use a wet cloth with soap and gently remove any dirt. The material does not color-bleed nor loose its shape. How great is that! Make sure to take out the insert before cleaning.

Our felted bag inserts have become a beloved signature piece of our bag brand. Loop Couture liners (or inserts as we call them) are removable and exchangeable, so you can wash your bag and keep it looking fresh and new. Inserts vary with every Loop Couture model and even our Phone Sleeves have a felted insert for your phone and ID.

Should your handbag get wet, please remove it from your handbag to let it dry. If you need to clean it, handwash it with cold water and use a gentle detergent.

Our handbag hardware comes in 4 color designs: Gold, Silver, Brushed Bronze and Gunmetal Black. Part of our Loop Couture  experience is for you to choose the design you'll love. Our hardware plays a big role in the creation of our unique and bold handbag look.

When I choose my hardware, what does it entail? 

For our World Bag it will determine the color of the handle hardware, bag strap hardware, connector rings and, of course, the bag feet!

Remove the felted inner liner of your bag, clip off cork handles and bag strap and place your knitted bag into a mesh or shoe bag. Alternatively, you may use a pillow case. Place into washing machine and wash and spin your bag just like you would a blouse or delicate garment, on warm water cycle. Remove from washing machine once done and lay your bag flat to dry. Position bag feet and metals into place should they have moved. Let it thoroughly dry and place the felted insert back into the bag, attach handles and bag strap and enjoy a beautifully cleaned and refreshed bag!
